This part time course may include weekly classes and/or weekend intensives throughout the year.
DDI (Level 3 Diploma in Dance Instruction) DDE (Level 4 Diploma in Dance Education)
The ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) is one of the world’s leading dance examinations board. From Ballet to Ballroom, they cover the full spectrum of genres and for more than 100 years have provided training for dance teachers and examiners, enabling them to enter their students for examinations, develop new techniques and spread the joy of dance.
We offer the DDI & DDE in 3 Genres:
Imperial Classical Ballet
Modern Theatre Dance

DDTAL – (Level 6 Diploma in Dance Training & Learning)
DDTAL (CYP) is the first qualification that:
Has been developed at the request of the major national dance organisations, led by Youth Dance England (YDE) on behalf of DTAP.
Specifically for dance artists and practitioners who wish to, or already, work with children and young people beyond statutory education and the private dance sector
Provides evidence to employers, colleagues and parents/carers that a dance artist or practitioner has the expertise to teach children and young people.
Please Note: The part time Teacher Training courses are for candidates who have already had previous formal dance training. The courses do not teach you how to dance but how to teach.
Withdrawal from the College
The College reserves the right to withdraw any student who does not appear likely to benefit from the training provided. One full terms notice in writing must be given by a student or parent (if applicable) wishing to withdraw from the College. Should a student be withdrawn without such notice being given, it is part of the contract between the student and/or parent and the College that a full terms fee becomes due immediately.
